Megan started with Cheer Starz in 2004 on the very first team that was created, Blaze. She started as a flyer and progressively moved to basing throughout the years. Since 2004, Megan now co-owns Cheer Starz with her mother, Jeri and cheers on the level 7 team, Inferno. Megan also coaches her own teams that normally reside on Wednesday nights and is the Heach Coach for Blaze for the 2023-24 Season.. Megan is USASF coaching certified levels 1 through 7 and she is also USASF and IASF legality certified for judging competitions around the world.
Fun Fact: Megan's favorite food is sushi.
Chris started with Cheer Starz in 2019 coming to the program after a long tenured career in scholastic cheer. Prior to coming to All Star, Chris cheered for the Pennsylvania State University - Behrend for 4 years and coached scholastic cheer for 21 years. During his time coaching in the scholastic world, he produced numerous champion teams including many National Championships and top 3 finishes. Chris is Level 1-6 USASF certified in Bulding and Level 1-3 in Tumbling. He specializes in cleaning routines with Cheer Starz.
Fun Fact: Chris has jumped out of a prefectly good airplane...several times!
Mary started at Cheer Starz when she was 8 years old. She is now going on season 16 with the gym. She became an athlete assistant at the age of 14. Mary started her high school cheerleading program back up as a freshman and cheered both competitively with Cheer Starz and for her high school football and basketball teams. After high school Mary continued to cheer with Cheer Starz on the open team and became an assistant coach. Mary started coaching tumbling 6 years ago along with coaching private tumbling lessons. Mary has been a head coach for a couple years and has assisted for many.
Fun Fact: Mary loves anything and everything to do with the outdoors and country music
Jacquie started cheering at Cheer Starz at 3 years old making this her 16th year with the gym. She took 2 years off due to injury, but she was a junior coach for the 21-22 season. She has returned and is now cheering for the open level 7 team. Jacquie cheered for her high school while also cheering competitively for 3 years before the school program was removed.
Fun Fact- Jacquie is terrified of clowns
